The Sustainability and development course is part of the Public Responsibility Track and aims to provide students with basic notions about today’s sustainability, providing innovation tools with solutions at a global level of public responsibility, deepening motivation and interest regarding current environmental problems Fundamental and basic knowledge for all professional fields. The subject will allow students to, among other things, answer questions such as: What situation are we in? Or, what are the damages that we have done with the excessive growth and misuse of resources? In addition, during the course of the semester, knowledge of concepts and principles of sustainability will be delivered with respect to the built and natural environment to which we belong, approaching in a general to events that have led us to an energy, social and economic crisis. This subject pays tribute to the thematic line of sustainability and quality of life and contributes to the development of the generic competencies of Public Responsibility and Critical Thinking.
